Music in Lanark invite you to their concert featuring violinist Aidan Broadbridge and accompanist Jonathan Cohen. They will play pieces by Tor Aulin, Sibelius, Stenhammer and Petersen Berger, giving the concert a distinctly Nordic flavour; works by Kodaly, Prokofieff, Fritz Kreisler and Malcolm Arnold give an international flavour, the exotic provided by Scott Joplin and Ketelby. The concert starts at 7.30, doors open 7.00, and takes place in Greyfriars Church. Refreshments are available at the interval, when there will be a display by the Scottish Wildlife Trust on the work done to perserve our wildlife heritage.Tickets cost £10 and may be purchased at the door or in advance foom Upstairs Downstairs, 8 Bloomgate, and Jo"Beala, St. Vincent place, Lanark.
